HAMILTON, Blanche Williams - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Blanche Hamilton of Danville, Illinois, age 86, died Wednesday morning, February 3, in Lakeview Hospital at Danville. She was born at Mt. Vernon, Illinois, December 17, 1895, the daughter of James and Anna Trout Williams. August 8, 1914, she married Ray Hamilton, who died February 28, 1963. Mrs. Hamilton was a member of Vermillion Heights United Methodist Church.

  Survivors include a daughter, Helen Vann of Danville, with whom she lived; two sons, John R. of Homestead, Florida, and James E. of Covington; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Pape Memorial Home in Danville with Rev. Gary L. Motta officiating.  Burial was in Atherton Cemetery. – thanks to S
